ICF Coaching Supervision

Coaching Supervision is the interaction that occurs when a coach brings their coaching work experiences to a supervisor in order to be supported and to engage in reflective dialogue and collaborative learning for the development and benefit of the coach, their clients, and their organizations.

Coaching Supervision offers a broad spectrum of topics as potential discussion which often leads to increased confidence in coaching:

  • The exploration of contracting challenges and ethical issues

  • Collaborative conversations to solve challenging and complex client situations

  • Clarifying accountability for both the coach and client

  • Applying appreciative inquiry in recognizing the coach’s strengths and wins

  • Analyzing coaching case studies to flush out options based on deeper understandings

  • Exploring broader coaching strategies to benefit client outcomes

  • Tending to blind spots

  • Reflection on the “way of being” as a coach and the kind of coach presence one is trying to create

Coaching Supervision is awarded 1 CCEU per hour toward core competencies. A limit of 10 hours (of the total 40) can be used toward a credential renewal.

I would be privileged to help you deepen your coaching practice.
